What is there to say other than I am still here. I have lost love, I have lost family but I have not lost hope. My life most certainly has not gone as planned and so far I feel I have gone grossly off course. I feel like I am drifting in the ocean on a tiny raft these days just waiting for the next wave to take me. But I am still here for now and therefore I will continue to do what I can without losing myself. I am still making art even though it has been a struggle lately. I have continued to make little pieces here and there and brush up on my cake decorating. I am still a beginner but now I do have requests coming from friends and family so that is a good thing! I am heavily contemplating going for my Master's degree lately, I feel like my Biology degree hasn't done much for me but I will keep on going. I just wish I had the money to afford med school.

I cannot believe I have been a part of this community for this long.  Little 14 year old me with bright eyes towards the future.  How my life has changed over the decade.  I managed, even through my severe anxiety and depression, to earn a 2-year degree at age 17, then study my ass off on top of working a full time job to earn my Bachelor's.  I'm pacing myself studying and working to get into grad school, I think I want to be a pediatric doctor if I can afford it.  I have gone through hell and still have yet to return to Earth.  I can say through the tribulations of life, I am still short, kind, strong-headed/stubborn, and caring. Trying to stay positive with all that has been happening in my life.  My mom nearly died.  She suffered a twisted bowel, had surgery to remove a length of her intestine. They sent her home two days later where she had a seizure in my arms as I was helping her in the restroom. She was sent away in an ambulance.  I cannot describe how awful it is feeling helpless with my mother potentially dying in my arms.  She convulsed and stared at me with nothing behind her eyes.  She's been in the ICU for a month since that happened.  They sent her home way too soon.  She ended up being transferred to another hospital due to the previous one's incompetenc
